FIQAS is now looking for a MS SQL Database Developer / Specialist. A cracker, who needs just a few words to get started, and will add knowledge and experience to our organization, especially in the areas of development and tuning. He/she should like to be part of an ambitious team, which is building – and will continue to build successful products. These are our advanced (fully Microsoft based) ERP platform Adapt®, as well as our telecom billing system Abillity® which we will also port to MS SQL in the near future.
Having a feeling for (and knowledge of) BI is definitely an asset. This person should like to play around with data in the frame of migrations. By himself/herself or by managing other people.
We are looking for somebody who is a senior, in actions, not necessarily in years. Somebody who also feels responsible for correct data models, scripts and DB management processes, and is capable of raising colleagues’ knowledge levels.

It is a definite advantage if you are capable of managing and being responsible for a (small) team. Quick thinking is much preferred in this position.
Experience
You are experienced in:
• MS SQL 2005 or 2008
• Database development/modeling
• Development of (complex) DB functions and stored procedures
• Database tuning (from tens to hundreds of millions of records)
It is a definite advantage if you have affinity with/experience in Business Intelligence (MS Analysis Services) and MS Integration Services.
The FIQAS office in Aalsmeer (in the Schiphol area, Netherlands) can easily be reached by public transport. There is plenty of parking space. You will find yourself in a work place in a uniquely designed office.
