FIQAS Friends & Family Day 2023 | FIQAS Software B.V.

On Saturday, September 2nd, it was time for a cherished FIQAS tradition: the biennial Friends & Family Day. It was a bustling edition with over 350 guests. Colleagues with their (sometimes expanded) families, parents, grandparents, friends, former colleagues—it was a heartwarming reunion. And quite literally, as luck would have it, the weather was radiant and beautiful!

A Festive Day for Friends and Family

Once every two years, we open our doors to all friends and family (young and old) of our employees. During this festive day, they get a glimpse of our beautiful and unique premises, catch up, and enjoy various activities.

After weeks of mediocre (autumnal) weather, the weather gods smiled upon us: a clear blue sky and delightful sunshine made for a splendid time at the corner of Hornweg and Molenvlietweg. And with an even larger turnout than in previous years, this edition was yet another grand success!

Thoughtful Consideration for Everyone

During the FIQAS Friends & Family Day, it’s all about ‘being together’. For the little ones, there was a bouncy castle, a balloon clown, and face painting. Older children and adults could unleash their creativity making hats, name tags, bracelets, or keychains in an Ibiza-style. For those who enjoy thrills, there was a real surf simulator and a VR flight simulator.

But we didn’t forget about those who prefer relaxation over activity. Master magician Steve Carlin strolled around, enchanting visitors as he did in previous editions. Aside from the array of snacks and drinks, fresh pizzas were baked in a real wood oven, there was authentic Italian ice cream, and you could treat yourself to a cone of Churros. In short, something for everyone to make it a delightful day!

Not Leaving Empty-Handed

Even though the day itself was a celebration just by being together, we made sure our guests didn’t leave empty-handed. All adult guests received a luxurious bouquet of flowers upon departure, and the children could choose their own gift or cuddly toy. Altogether, yet another wonderfully successful Friends & Family Day. 💜
