Effortless management of product propositions
Design your subscription models using modular building blocks. Define descriptions, associated amounts, and payment frequencies (e.g., monthly, quarterly, or annually).
Specify whether subscription invoicing occurs in advance or arrears, set minimum contract durations, and determine whether discounts apply. If so, choose the type of discount (e.g., a discount for the first X months or a one-time promotional discount). Additionally, specify whether the applicable VAT regime is inclusive or exclusive.

You can also add one-off fees and/or supplementary (mandatory) options to create a comprehensive product or service package. Importantly, decide how much flexibility your staff have to deviate from established propositions. For consumers, you might limit options, while for business agreements, you may allow more flexibility.
You can also easily combine one or more propositions into a tailored offering for a specific (promotional) period. Using an open API, you can seamlessly integrate active product propositions into your registration forms or customer portal.
Subscription registration
At the account level, register the selected proposition, including the contract start date, commencement date, and optionally an end date.
Configure settings to allow the description, price, discount, and other parameters to be overridden—if you permit it. Modifications are straightforward as well. Let Abillity® determine whether it’s an upgrade or downgrade and calculate any financial implications accordingly.
Automatically the correct amount
Abillity® calculates the exact amounts and discounts for each invoicing period. In cases of contract breaches, Abillity® can compute penalties and immediately apply any relevant reductions. It can also automatically credit periods that have been invoiced but not used. With Abillity®, subscription invoicing is always handled correctly!
Transparent subscription invoicing and collection
The Abillity® invoicing module ensures that all subscription periods and discounts are billed clearly and transparently. Invoices are generated according to the set parameters and include the correct VAT regime. All relevant information is presented clearly on the invoice, so your customer understands precisely how the amount was calculated. The Abillity® credit management module then ensures successful collection of the invoice.
Real-time insights
With the Abillity® API, you can effortlessly check which type of subscription is currently active for your customer and whether all related invoices have been paid. This feature can be integrated into an authentication process for a product or service. If everything is in order, you can confidently grant the customer access to the service, including any additional features they’ve purchased and paid for.
