The PreventieZorgPortaal (PZP), developed by FIQAS on behalf of Volandis, has been praised as a ‘commended initiative’ in the prestigious Healthy Workplaces Campaign by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA). The award ceremony will take place in December at the EU-OSHA headquarters in Bilbao.
A joint success in smart digital care
The PreventieZorgPortaal for the construction sector was nominated by the Dutch EU-OSHA focal point as a model project and was assessed by the international jury as an “exceptionally outstanding example of good practice”. A result that both Volandis and FIQAS are proud of.

About the PreventieZorgPortaal: control over process and health
Built on the Abillity® platform from FIQAS, the PreventieZorgPortaal supports the entire prevention care process within the construction and infrastructure sectors. From inviting employees for employability scans or health checks to recording medical data by various occupational health providers and advisors. In addition, action plans and the automated financial settlement of reimbursements are all managed digitally, GDPR-compliant, and fully automated.
The functionality of the PZP enables employees to take control of their sustainable employability through their own Employee Portal. At the same time, occupational health services, advisors, and Volandis gain greater insight, control, and flexibility. Moreover, the portal centralises data, standardises processes, and enables automatic self-billing for delivered services.
Smart software, visible impact
The impact of this digital transformation is clearly visible: higher participation rates, shorter turnaround times, reduced administrative burden, and – most importantly – improved prevention care for thousands of skilled professionals. By 2024, more than 16,000 employees made use of the portal.
