Wholesale Operator integrates invoicing and payment processing with Abillity®

Wholesale Operator and FIQAS previously announced their collaboration to integrate invoicing and credit management into Wholesale Operator’s MVNE services. The solution is now live.

With Abillity®, invoicing and payment processing are integrated into the Wholesale Operator platform. Customer data, subscriptions and usage data provide the basis for automatically generating monthly invoices, including integrated payment options and payment processing.

Invoicing as an integral part of the service

For many MVNOs (mobile telecom providers without their own network), invoicing and credit management are still separate parts of the service. Data comes from different systems, some processing is carried out manually, and activities such as direct debits and payment reminders are managed through separate systems.

This not only makes processes more complex and increases the risk of errors, but also limits scalability.

Wholesale Operator has therefore chosen to make invoicing and payment processing an integral part of its service offering to service providers.

One integrated process from usage to payment

The Wholesale Operator platform records usage. Subscription and usage data then form the basis for invoicing within Abillity®.

Payment processing is also integrated, including direct debits, direct debit reversals, payment reminders and online payment options. This creates one integrated process from usage to payment, without unnecessary handovers between different systems.

Designed to scale

As a result, service providers no longer need to combine separate systems for invoicing, payments, reminders and collections. With Abillity®, these processes are brought together in one integrated workflow.

This makes it easier to scale, introduce new products and services, and retain full oversight of financial processes. Even as customer and transaction volumes increase.

The next step in services for service providers

By integrating invoicing and payment processes, Wholesale Operator is further expanding its service offering.

For service providers, this means they can manage an increasing number of the components required to set up and operate their own MVNO within a single environment. From mobile services and subscriptions to usage, invoicing and payments.

This allows service providers to focus on their own customer proposition and customers, while the underlying processes are designed to remain scalable and efficient.

Why increasing complexity leads to invisible revenue leakage

Revenue leakage rarely results from a single major error. Learn why growing complexity increases the risk and how revenue assurance helps prevent discrepancies before they occur.
