FIQAS is experiencing strong growth and is fully committed to innovation. In order to increase operational and strategic strength, the Aalsmeer based software company has appointed Cees Versteeg as COO. Coming from KPN, where he was, among others, Manager CIO Office, Program Manager Fiber and Operations Director Sympac bv (KPN’s international mobile B2B provider), Cees has extensive experience in the telecom industry, an important target market for the specialized billing solutions from FIQAS. Another recent reinforcement of the FIQAS management team concerns Wilfred Langelaan, formerly employed as Team Manager at Royal FloraHolland, where he was responsible for various development teams that built auction systems, with great attention to real-time aspects and continuous availability.
FIQAS is a service organization supplying managed services for rating, invoicing and debtor management. In recent months, FIQAS has again delivered various challenging projects for new and existing customers inside and outside the Netherlands and is working on a number of large-scale projects. To consolidate such growth and innovation organizationally, reinforcement on the personnel level is necessary.
In his last position at KPN, Cees Versteeg was responsible for the management of the CIO Office, devising and implementing ICT improvement programs, reorganizations and policy. At FIQAS, Cees will lead FIQAS Operations, optimize work processes and streamline the organization for further growth. In addition, Cees will use his experience to work on FIQAS’ future strategy together with general manager Rob Geleijn and the management team.
In his last position at Royal FloraHolland, Wilfred Langelaan played an important role in the change process towards Agile / Scrum. As a scrummaster, Wilfed gained a lot of experience with such a transition. As Manager Product Development at FIQAS, he uses this experience to coach our Srum teams and drive our technological innovation.
Rob Geleijn expects a lot from the expertise and experience offered by both reinforcements. “With the addition of Cees and Wilfred to our management team, we are taking an important step in making our company more scalable. This enables us to optimally serve our growing customer base while at the same time making substantial efforts to innovate, which is conditional for future success.”
In its most successful year in its nearly 30-year history, FIQAS is still looking for technical talent to continue being First In Quality and Service.
